Current design will use the financial dimensions for intercompany ledger account coming from different setup. The request from customers is to append the originating legal entity to the intercompany ledger account as a financial dimension so that the customers have a clear view of the originating legal entity. The originating legal entity then becomes a financial dimension.
With the fixed offset of the intercompany ledger account you can create a 1 to 1 relation between legal entity and financial dimension values, however when having the same intercompany ledger account for all legal entities, this feature is not useful.
