Views do not show precise amount of Total records when the total number of records exceed 5000. Right now, the only way to find out the total number of case records or contact records is to export all the records to an excel spreadsheet and then get the count. This is not user friendly and is creating more work for the users. If you can show the total count in the view, it would eliminate this extra step and would make it more user friendly.

Hi, we face de same issue in our organization.
According to the performance impact on scalegroup, could it be implemented on demand ? For example as a link/button (at the bottom of the view) that displays the exact number of records on click ?
