Our customer is in the middle of implementing IOM and Inventory Visibility. They already have D365 F&O. The solution focuses on core and native integration between D365, IOM and IV.

D365 is the source of truth for inventory, hence IV should reflect near real time values. The business needs a read only role which allows them to run On Hand query from Operational Visibility, Inventory summary from Inquiries and reports.

Currently there is a System Administrator role which is not suitable for this request.

Please advise if such a role can be available in the future.
