Suggest to have kit version functionality, similar to BOM versions, to allow user to setup multiple versions, approve the versions, deactivate old version and activate new versions, and with date and quantity ranges.

This is very important for the way retailers use kits. They purchase a planogram as a single item at the beginning of a season. The planogram arrives shrink wrapped and is cross docked in the DC. The planogram will change over time, but may be mostly the same, so it would be useful to update a kit.
