The existing functionality to attach files only allows for one file to be attached at a time. In many instances, users are attaching several files to records whether they are journals, purchase orders, etc.

This becomes an overly time consuming process that should be able to be streamlined by allowing multiple files to be attached at once. Each file that is attached would, still, be a separate attachment record where details can be specified
