Within the Subscription & Recurring Billing module in Business Central, early termination and isue of partial credit notes of a subscription is not possible.

Example below;

- A yearly contract running from 1st January 2025 to 31 December 2025. 

- Customer is paying £120/year

- The contract line needs to be cancelled (Subscription Line End Date) on the 1st of June 2025

- A credit memo has to be created for the period of 1st June 2025 to 31 December 2025 (£70)

- The contract line should not be billed anymore from the 1st of June 2025 onwards.

Upon setting the Subscription Line End Date in the Contract Line to 1st June 2025, the below error is issued, which means we cannot put an earlier termination date to the contract line;

'The Subscription Line End Date is only allowed to be 1 day before the Next Billing Date'
