When creating a drop shipment in Business Central, it would be nice if the shipment method code on the sales order would pull through and update the shipment method code with the associated purchase orders. A toggle on the Sales & Receivable setup would be great as this would allow clients to use the functionality as is, or turn on this function if necessary. Clients often require their drop shipment orders to match the shipping method that is on the sales order and provide this information to the vendor so that they are aware of how the drop shipment should be shipped. As this can vary from sales order to sales order, the only way to manage this is to manually update the associated purchase orders to match. Adding this functionality in would greatly reduce this manual work, speeding up the drop shipment process and reducing errors.
