This is a known issue by Microsoft for years (since GP 2013) and was never fixed, due to lack of report by customers or little use of AA in the field apparently.
Some customers who are havely using AA run into the bug all the time. it's known under the Quality Issue #71639 as described here:

Apparently it's not just affecting the AA Analysis form, but also the PM AA Transaction Entry form. When 2 or more users open the same window at the same time, sometimes the GP client of either or both would freeze and you need to kill the GP client to recover.
AA might be a minor module and not used widely, but it deserves to be fixed. Please consider this for a next major release.
