This will make it easier to handle one or more POs coming from overseas, for instance, so you can buy into a foreign warehouse and transfer it to a domestic warehouse while having visibility to the "on the water" quantity. The Get Bin functionality is good, but it grabs all at once, and if I have several shipments on several boats at the same time, this doens't help me.

Please consider streamlining this area to actually embed the concept of an overseas shipment itself. There are so many third parties trying to simulate this using transfer orders and adding container functionality.

It might be time for the team to actually consider the importing business process. Re-think how overhead % on items, incorporate the use of expected landed cost templates and allow billing against and inbound shipment - rather than being forced to receive goods into an overseas location and then create a transfer order.

There is plenty of best practice around on this. Think of the power of a microsoft micro-service tracking shipments, incorporate document exchange and finance.
