Requirement:

I would like to get a chart of a demand forecast in each "category ".

Current scenario:

A demand forecast is the prediction of a future capacity requirements likewise production/purchase planning, inventory management and so on. We can get a result of a demand forecast in each “item” or “item group”, however cannot get it in each "category ".

Question:

Could I ask a question for about a possibility of a demand forecast in each "category " ?

I found it is regarding allocation keys as following,

-Item allocation keys (form) [AX 2012]

It seems to be unable to include  "category " as allocation keys.
