Our users need the ability to, in certain scenarios, have the user interface hide the decimal component of real numbers in the grid and real controls when viewing data. Only when the users clicks into the field to edit the value is the decimal component relevant for their work.

The values must still be stored with the decimal component so rounding errors do not occur.

In other words, separate the functionality of the form control's No Of Decimals property and the EDT field's No Of Decimals property:

- Form control property affects the display on the interface only
- EDT property affects the data storage only
