General Ledger data entity allow import of data with Account type "Project"

There is a MS code around General Ledger data entity which restricts to upload data with account type "Project". We could not find any valid reason why MS is restricting it at data entity level because we can upload the same data using excel add-in and also create a manual entry. The same entity can use to upload data with account types Customer, Vendor and Bank.
