Treat negative on hand inventory values as 0 in master planning. In the retail industry, it is required to allow inventory in the stores to go negative, however master planning should not use the negative value in replenishment since it will cause over ordering.

We need also a parameter in the planing optimization to us neg. stock for the calculation, as it was in the MRP.

Our customer wants to generate a purchase order advice based on negative stock. Creating an advise from negative stock to zero units was always possible with master planning. Due to the change to the new Planning Optimization and the above adjustment this is no longer possible.
Please make it possible again based on a configuration setting or parameter!

Please make it a parameter to activate/deactivate!
For my customer the original functionality is key, so they need to keep that master planning should use the negative value in replenishment.
Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback.
This is a great suggestion! We have incorporated this in the design for the Planning Optimization service.
