Under 10.0.40 Consolidation online templates have been released. When setting up a template, there is a mandatory field for GL posting date under the Elimination fasttab. When using the Consolidate online process with the template, there is no ability to select a GL posting date for elimination which means that the current expectation is to first review the template setup first, update the elimination GL posting date before running the performing consolidation using a template. If someone forgets to update this date in template setup the elimination ends up creating/posting to incorrect date (potentially the past date that was used in previous run), The idea is to have the Elimination GL posting date on the Consolidation online dialogue screen itself so that the user review and updates the date as necessary before running the process itself rather performing the extra step of reviewing the Consolidation template each time before running Consolidation.
