Box.com takes this a step further and does this even better. They have a feature that allows "Log in as this account" which would be great for Dynamics 365. Its always a Admin headache to have to physical view the users account, remote in, share passwords (which is bad practice) etc to troubleshoot issues, understand user request and so forth. It would make a world of a difference if admins could just temporarily login as the user and experience the issue exact, as well as verify they are truly seeing the stuff they should and shouldn't.

Hi there, Depending on your deployment, you can grant the privilege "Promote User to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator Role" as it allows users with this role to make themselves a System Administrator. The idea is you grant yourself the security role you want to test, and remove the System Administrator role and after testing, you can use the "Promote to Admin" command on the system user view or form and the System Administrator role is restored. See the link below for more details. https://crmtipoftheday.com/652/promote-to-admin-explained/ Cheers, Jacky

Look to ServiceNow's implementation as they have absolutely nailed this. https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/lp/new_to_servicenow/app_store_learnv2_securingapps_newyork_impersonating_users?v=newyork
