It would be great to have a few more digits in the TaxCodeID so we are not limited to 10 digits. This should be seen in conjunction with the Tax Calculation Service where we now have multiple VAT registration per legal entity and therefor a much more detailed tax code setup.

Total agree and in addition to this, I will recommend the description as well in sales tax code, sales and items groups.

I absolutely agree. 10 digits are not enought to describe various scenarious in VAT area as for example by multiple VAT authorities within one legal entity etc..
