A vital component of security audit trail in store operations is to identify if an override has happened at the shopping cart and who executed the override permission. This information should be easily accessible to the HQ business so they can view directly from the transaction and preferably they can run reports from Retail HQ.
The information that can be captured minimally with the retail store transactions are;
1. Staff Id/Name
2. Date/Time
3. Manual, Card swipe, etc
An option also would be to link it with the Audit events in D365 which is already available at the Retail store transactions.
