Currently, the tenant-to-tenant migration process using PowerShell requires customers to reconfigure certain applications and environment settings after migration. Environment-level configurations—such as feature toggles, Generative AI features, and privacy/security settings—are reset to their default values, which can cause unnecessary inconvenience and additional effort for businesses.

Proposed Improvement:

Enhance the migration process so that environment settings, including Generative AI features, are retained post-migration instead of reverting to default values. This will help maintain continuity, reduce manual reconfiguration, and improve the overall migration experience.
