In the Dynamics 365 (or CRM for Outlook) add-in, Set Personal Options -> Address Book - > Other Record Types, there are 2 options:
"Match only items I own" - this option will only display ACTIVE record for which the Owner is the "Current User" and for which the user has security access. This option does NOT include INACTIVE records. This option is too restrictive.
"Match all items in Microsoft Dynamics CRM" - this option displays ALL records (active or inactive) and for which the user has security access. This option is too un-restrictive
Ideally, there would be a filter option to change the "Match only items I own" option to include "Current User or User's Teams" Or, alternatively, there would be a filter option to change the "Match all items in Microsoft Dynamics CRM" option to eliminate INACTIVE records.
