Many products already incorporate this kind of toggle when a new feature should be tried by users prior to total sunset of previous version of the feature.

For TAX local features this should be mandatory to include, as many times both versions coexist in production environments in the Authority's side too.

Cloud version is not allowing to postpone the updates and furthermore, the time in sandbox environments is not enough to test accordingly.

Sunset of previous version may generate an outage in electronical invoicing features, and TAX reporting that are critical to the business in the legal standpoint.
