When making a call using the Microsoft Teams Dialer inside the Dynamics 365 Sales App, if a user already has a record (such as an Opportunity, Lead, or Account) open, the resulting Phone Call activity should automatically populate the “Regarding” field with that record and appear in its Timeline with all relevant call details. Currently, this doesn’t happen, the activity is created without a linked record, requiring manual connection. Adding this functionality would save time, improve tracking of customer interactions, and ensure call history stays tied to the correct business context.
