It is important to have option to set default reminder times for different task types or at least change default time. For example if creating task for procurement offer deadline, its not helping if reminder is 30 min. before – you cant do much in such short time. You don’t want to change bid deadline date also as this is important info to use when working with opportunity. So correct way is that there is actual task deadline and then reminder what can be set to whatever needed or per task type.
