It would be a great enhancement if we became able to scan GS1 barcode on POS terminal,

in pharmaceutical industry, medicines are labeled by 2d data matrix barcode that carry the following information (GTIN - Batch number - batch expiry date - serial number).

so it would be a great support if we scanned this 2d barcode and let the system identify the product code, batch number, expiry date and the serial number automatically and populate these information to the transaction line.

this option is recently enabled for preview on warehouse management (released version 10.0.23), but still not available for retail POS.
