After converting a Quote to an Order, you are unable to Override the Order Product price
Repro:
1. Open up CRM 2011
2. Click on Quotes
3. Click on New
4. On the Quote form, enter the required information
5. Click on Save
6. Click on Products within the Quote
7. Click on Add New Quote Product
8. Fill in the required information
9. Click on Save and Close
10. Within the Quote form, click on the Quote tab
11. Click on Activate Quote button
12. Click on Create Order and click OK
13. Within CRM, click on Sales > Orders
14. Open the Order you just created
15. Within the Order form, click on Products
16. Open the Order Product record
17. Note you are not able to modify anything other than quantity
If you just create an Order through the application, you are then able to modify the Order Product.
There are times where you need to modify an Order Product after issuing a quote and it would be great if you could do this without having to reissue a new Quote or a new Order. This consumes a lot of time for an end user.
