Let us say, a Sales is made for 60 MTR.

Existing Setup

Item Units of Measure

A0001 ROLL 1

A0001 MTR 0.03333

Now ILE will be created for a Qty. of 1.9998 ROLL for the above Sale transaction.

There is a difference between this qty. and the physical qty.

Proposed Setup

Item No. Code Qty. per UOM Inverse Qty. per UOM

A0001 ROLL 1 1

A0001 MTR 0.03333 30

Now ILE will be created for q qty. of2 ROLL for the above Sale transaction, if "Inverse Qty. per UOM" is considered in the computations.

This will match with the Physical Inventory.

This "Inverse Qty. per UOM" parameter can be mapped only for those items, which have the "Qty. per UOM" running into decimals as above.
