For customers who are running their accounts on a fiscal calendar that is not the usual calendar months, using the Recurring journal function is difficult as cannot tell the program to use the last day of the Period,

i.e Instead of 1M+CM, have something like 1M+PE 

where CM picks the last day of the Month, PE would pick the last day on the financial period.
