Increase maximum total duration for a project

Currently, there is a 10 year limit on the total duration of a project. We have customers who run projects for 10+ years.

Please can this duration limit be extended (and therefore extending the maximum duration of a summary task limit too).

I am working with the customer where duration of the project's are most often 15-20 years.


Split of the projects to separated records (to workaround the 10 years limitations) cause increase the project management effort and complexity in managing project tasks milestones and project tasks completion.


Will be great to receive feedback from PG about any idea when and if the 10 years duration limitation can be extended to higher year's number to fulfill the business project management expectations?

We do have projects' durations longer than 10 years, hopefully this can be developed asap. Thanks.
