We see a need to have a threshold setting on production output. Example we regularly run a little short on production orders, within 5%. The MRP picks up this shortage and generates a planned order to cover the shortage which in turn creates planned purchase orders to fill the requirements based on the order multiples and minimum order settings. In actuality we are okay with a shortfall of 5% or less and the additional demand is creating un-needed noise in the MRP. It would be better if there was a setting to disregard these shortfalls.
