If this function does not operate properly, the customer cannot grasp the required quantity development of the product correctly. It is hard to know the actual required quantity development of the product without using the function.
REPRO STEPS GROUP
1. Create 2 items
Item number = #ea, Product name = #ea, Search name = #ea, Item model group = FIFO, Item group = Audio, Storage dimension group = SiteWH, Tracking dimension group = None
Item number = #B, Product name = #B, Search name = #B, Item model group = FIFO, Item group = Audio, Storage dimension group = SiteWH, Tracking dimension group = None
2. Set Default order type = “Production” for the item (#B)
3. Setup BOM line that the item #B has the item #ea
e.g. site =1, warehouse=11, Quantity=1, Line type=Vendor
Approve and Activation
4. Create Sales order for #B (e.g. Customer account=US-001 ,site=1, warehouse=11)
1. Run MRP as filter=#B
2. Goto master plan>planned order
3. Select the created planned production order for #B, click “Explosion”
4. Confirm to be indicated for (dynamic) to the #ea
5. Open the BOM line in the released item for #B (at setup step 3.), then change the Line type = item
6. Return Explosion page (repro step 4.), then click Update
7. Click ok in the Requirement calculation below
ACTUAL RESULT
The #ea of Planned purchase orders is not update, in spite of Operation completed. Because the row of #ea indicates with (dynamic), even if changed Line type to item in Repro step 5.
Expected RESULT
The #ea of Planned purchase orders should be updated.
The row of #ea should be indicated without (dynamic) because there is no (dynamic) when Line type for the item in BOM is set to Item and never changed.
