We should add Timeout property for Database Sync of D365FO. Currently , We can run Database Sync with LCS/Visual Studio and SyncEngine.exe. However all these tools doesn’t provide with the property of Timeout for running DB Sync. Although SyncEngine.exe in Dynamics AX had “-sqltimeout” option to set timeout value, however, SyncEngine.exe in D365FO doesn’t has this option. Sometimes, we encounter Timeout issue and DB Sync is failing on but it gets the success to complete with re-run DB Sync. We may be able to avoid this kind of issue with changing timeout value longer.
