I created new project and found project group does not synchronize with project WBS master and below are the repro steps that were used


Step1: Select legal entity USSI for simulation


Step2: Select project category ‘CAR RENTAL’ and assign project 00000096


Step3: Go to Project00000096>Plan> try to create new WBS> Schedule and planning and click on category dropdown


At this point no categories are displayed, whereas user expectation is to show the category 'CAR RENTAL' since if user enters the value manually system accepts and saves the record.


This issue has been escalated to Microsoft development team vide Bug#3842390, where it was clarified that in schedule & planning tab system is designed to show only categories with type as "HOUR" but not expense categories.  If this logic is correct system shouldn't accept the expense category when attempted to update the value manually.


Hope Microsoft will fix the issue permanently in near future
