In our infrastructure company, fixed assets such as vehicles, heavy machinery, and equipment are often moved from one location to another based on operational needs. This transfer process does not involve changing the asset code, name, or any previous data associated with the asset.
The management needs to ascertain the current location of fixed assets and maintain a record of their historical locations and periods of availability.
There is a need to link fixed assets to resources, such as the employee page
