We are currently using business events to push D365FO payments through payment journals back to a 3rd party commodity trading application.. Our commodities trading application needs to maintain customer/vendor open AR/AP balances from D365FO. There is one gap we have identified and that is with settlements. Once the payment is posted in D365FO, it is common for us change that payment application using the Unsettle/Settle functionality in D365. Currently there is no business event triggered by a settlement. This is functionality that could help multiple organizations.
