For BC SaaS CH, when using the option Edit in Excel has to choose the format differently in Excel, which does not affect the underlying value.

When you have the column of UTC dates, select all of them, and press ctrl+1.

The format cells panel should appear:

Format Cells:

Category: Type:

... ...

Data 14.03.2012

... ...

And instead of the current custom formatting being applied, we have to go to "Date" and pick another Locale and another date format for German (Switzerland).

The issue with the "Edit in Excel" function, which is a great function, is for any localizations. Fields with type date, should be shown as it is in the country specific format. Europe = DD.MM.YYYY Today, all the dates shows up in a the following (wrong) date format = YYY-MM-DD.For usability reason, it would be nice, if it shows up the right way
