A little history here, we are a telecommunications construction company and have received a lot sterilized and lot numbered of equipment from our client. We have a few thousand parts and pieces to enter and track. We have to track the serial/lot numbers as we build the sites and will later be using service contacts for the maintenance and repair of these facilities. For tax reason we created a virtual warehouse to keep track of these items and are currently using zero-dollar POs to enter the equipment into the virtual warehouse. This mean using Item Tracking Lines to enter the serial/lot numbers one at a time. Even with a scanner this is time consuming.

Having the ability to enter the serial numbers as the manufacture has assigned, with a copy/paste from excel would be a real time saver. Currently there is not an "edit in excel" option in Tracking Lines card. We are able to "open in excel" just not edit.
