Currently, the Virtual Network Policies page in the Power Platform Admin Center displays a list of environments without any search or filter functionality. For organizations managing multiple environments, it becomes time-consuming to locate a specific environment or filter by attributes such as Type, Managed status, Region, or Policy.
Proposed Enhancement:
- Add a search bar to quickly find environments by name.
- Add filter options for columns like Type (Production, Sandbox, Developer), Managed status, and Region.
Benefits:
- Improves usability and efficiency for administrators.
- Reduces time spent scrolling through large lists.
- Enhances governance and compliance management by making policy checks easier.
Comments
The slide out is too narrow, making it impossible to fully see the environment name and policy name without trying to resize the columns. The columns for Environment type, Dataverse, managed (for a simple Yes/No), and region take up too much space , while the Policy column, which the most important, is not given enough room. The policy column should be moved to right next to the environment name. I have over 100 environments to manage, the table cannot be sorted by environment name (nothing happens when I click on the column header) and the environments appear in random order. It is extremely difficult to find the right environment to set the policy. There is also no search function. UI enhancement of the usability of this screen will be very helpful.
