We just updated to Dynamics 365 to enable the Etitable Grid feature on our tenant, just to discover that it is not applicable to "Opportunity product" and "Quote product" entities.
My company need it to be able to use the "product" entity to add the product information to the quote, including the price from the pricelist. Then need to be able to manually insert a unit price, based on personal calculations and very specific situation. This price is what in the end will be used to calculate totals and will be the price given to the our final customer. Normally to calculate the "net price" we apply a percent discount to the list price, other times the "net price" is manually decided.
None of the above is possible with the standard entities. Etitable grids should solve all the above easly.
Is it possible to let the organization add this Editable Grid control to "Opportunity Product" and "Quote product" entities?

If they don't allow us to do editable grid, we should be able to customize more of the current grid. I don't need all of the fields there, and the functionality that automatically updates the oppty is great. Why can't I configure it to look the way I want!

Seems like this is a bit of disappointment for my clients as well. I am going to try to create an editable grid in the quote entity and see if I can pull valued into it that will replace the Quote product inline edit View.

This is a problem for our customer as well. They need to edit fields in the Opportunity Product and Quote Product grids on the web.

We have the same need. Working with Editable Grids / Inline Edit should be more flexible for Quote Product and Opportunity Product.
