This is a critical requirement for our internal compliance process. Can this be implemented, as working around this through customizations will be challenging.With so many customers requesting this, I'm hoping it can get the attention it deserves from Microsoft.

I agree. It's nonproductive to have dimensions and not be able to use them for the built-in reporting functionality. Being able to see and use all dimensions on lists and in analysis mode would make reporting in BC much more efficient and usable.

Glad to see that it was finally included in standard product.Still the feature does not seem to manage dimensions in the case that customer uses same external item code and in D365 we have 2 versions (for example...could be 2 colors/sizes/etc.) we do see 2 records, but regardless which one is selected dimension is not taken into account (i.e. always same item+version saved on order line.
