In UCI, each record of the lookup field view can only display up to three columns.
We want it to display more columns, just like in the classic UI.

We need to make sure that they can GET to the old selection view screen where they could search within a view, as well as sort columns (for example, users might sort by price, or sort by vintage year, if looking at products). Creating so many custom views as was suggested to us as a workaround is not only difficult (how can we anticipate what every user might want to do) and is also confusing to the users (so many views to sort through). Reasons people would do this. They type in a company name - say a large company like "GE". They need to look at the city location and an account number to make sure they are selecting th eright one. They want to choose a product but there are many variations. They want to see aspects of the product to see which one is sutiable to sell to their customer. They are choosing a salesperson to assign something to, but multiple salespeole have the same name. (ex: "John Davis".) They need to see the email address and title to determine which is which.

I agree - my business team wants to delay the launch/use of the Unified Client Interface due to this!
