We have enabled the 2021 Wave 2 update for Dynamics 365. The update contains changes to the view UI, and we are finding that we cannot see as many characters in the column headers due to the new text format in the column headers. The text in the column headers is bigger and bolder, and as a result, we cannot view as many characters in the column header as before we enabled Wave 2, and we have to manually change the column widths to view the same text that we could prior to Wave 2. I am creating this idea as a suggestion revert to the previous column header text format or provide a method, so users do not need to manually update the column widths in all of their existing views to see the same number of characters in the column header.

For example, prior to the Wave 2 update, the system view "Active Contacts" displayed the full text "Address 1: City" for the address1_city column header. After enabling Wave 2, the user can only see "Address..." and must manually increase the width of the column to see the rest. The column header does not provide immediate value to the user because the user can no longer view the full text. With this change, we would have to manually modify the column widths in hundreds of views.

I agree! This issue will significantly affect the user experience if it won't be fix before the wave2 updates are installed.

Hi,

yes this is a big issue, for some columns it was just 1 char and then ... which does not say much.. :) I wonder if this can be configured?
