Hi,

I'm sure this feature request (or idea) has been logged already but it would be really useful to be able to change the column names within system views within Dynamics 365 for a bunch of reasons.

I know it is possible to change field display names (which then appear as the column name) and then the label names that appear for these fields on forms but this is not the solution I'm looking for.

Thanks.

Here's an example of how this would be useful:

We use the nickname field on the User entity for our employee initials. For our clients, there are up to 5 employees assigned to the client in different roles, and they are linked via lookup fields to the User.
For a view where we want to include all the linked users, we either have to use a lot of column space to show the fullname, or we have ambiguous column headings (showing only "Initials") and show their initials. If you point to the column heading, the popup gives the user enough info to know what role it is, but it would be better to just give the column heading a useful display name.
