After the 2022Wave2 update, wildcards are not available in a simple search

After the 2022 Wave2 update, if you enter a wildcard in a simple search, an error message will appear and will be the default behavior that is not available.

Using wildcards in simple searches before the update, but it's very inconvenient that I can no longer use wildcards.

Customer would like to see wildcards available in simple searches.

We're also missing this feature and we are getting lot of complaints.

The colleagues were used to this kind of search.
