If a user creates a custom workspace, that workspace and all saved views included in the workspace are then easily able to be copied to another user via the System Administration > Setup > Personalizations page by finding the workspace (under the Personal tab, where User created workspaces always have a technical name beginning with "User_WS"
However, if a user adds views or tiles to the Microsoft workspaces such as "Sales Order processing and inquiry" that personalization/update to the default workspace is not included in these personal views and therefore these updates to the workspace are not easily replicated to other users.
This forces the creation of an entirely custom workspace rather than encouraging the utilization of these standard workspaces--which sometimes have enhanced functionalities that are not possible for individual users to re-create (such as ability to have a button to create a new record, a graph, or date filters etc)
