The Ledger reporting currency conversion is not supported anymore. For the moment, the only way to change the reporting currency is to create a new company. To speed up and facilitate this process, it’s possible to use the “Copy legal entity and configurations” feature, however some of the setup is not shared across all companies.
The best solution would be to enhance the feature deprecated to simplify and decrease the time spend.This will have a huge impact in these situations.

The tool to change the Accounting and Reporting currency was deprecated when moving AX to the cloud. It was also deprecated for the AX 2012 R3 release. The tool was intended to change every accounting and reporting currency amount in the entire system. That is an extremely pervasive change. The tool was incomplete. The tool didn't update all amounts, and there is no clear way for engineering to find every amount. Research was done to determine if we could update the tool but it was quickly determined that it wasn't possible. In addition, ISVs track more amounts through new tables and fields. Those amounts must also be updated. New services have been introduced with amounts outside of the core Dynamics 365 system. Those amounts must also be updated. With all these areas of impact, it's impossible to guarantee the tool will correctly update all amounts and therefore there is no plan to add this tool back.
