Repro Steps

1) Login to CRM application
2) Go to Settings -> Customizations -> Customize the System -> Expand Entitles -> Expand Quote Product -> Fields -> Double click quantity.
3) Now in the current "Quantity" field customization windows, you will see a option to change precision value under "Type" section.
5) Change the precision to "0" value and "Save and Close" the field.
6) Now in the "Customize the system" windows click the "Publish All Customizations" button shown on top of the window.
7) Now go to CRM -> Sales -> Quotes -> Open a "Quote" -> Now on the Quote form click on "Products" available in left navigation panel.
8) Now if you open a Quote Product from the list view, you will see that Quantity field will be still showing 5 decimal zeros.

Even though for Quantity field in Quote Product we have configured it to have "0" decimal precision, on the form we are seeing

In actual result when you open the Quote product form Quantity field should having only the decimal precision configured in Quantity field customization.
Comments
Change the quantity selling option for the Price List Item to "Whole" and it should suppress the decimal places shown to the user when they add the product to an opp, quote or order
