Goal

For traceability and downstream processes, additional information is required to be stored at the subscription. This information should be transferred from the upstream sales order.

User Story

A company deals in hardware and software subscriptions, among other things. Upon delivery, data for the items is created in the system for customers in the form of subscriptions. There are regular sales campaigns in which all salespeople ask their customers whether they are satisfied with the products and whether there is an opportunity for further sales. This requires information about the original sale.

Requirement

When the subscription is created based on a Sales order, useful information should be transferred to the subscription incl. the corresponding invoice number. Since the subscription is created upon delivery but not necessarily at the same time with the invoice, the posted Sales invoice number must be added when posting.

Add the following fields to the subscrition:

• Sales person
• Sales order number
• Vendor
• Manufacturer
• Manufacturer item number
• Posted sales invoice number
