Hi

the WebResourceBase in our default environment is over 500MB in size and we're not using it as our production.
this is a big waste of space and money for us as a customer. we only have a couple of Canvas apps which are very small. Can you look into reducing the amount of space WebResourceBase uses up when there no data stored please?

Thanks for your feedback.

System entities are included in the database storage as indicated in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/capacity-storage. The Web resource entity will be changed to file capacity instead of database capacity for April 2021.

Consider moving the content of the WebResource entity from the database storage to the file storage in the CDS. The entity contains anyway just files of different types. Even in small environments with less business data, this entity occupies large portion of the available database storage, which is certainly not appropriate.

Web resource files are currently stored in the WebResouseBase. Also, "Customer solutions" and "Microsoft First Party Solutions" are similarly stored in [WebResouseBase]. >Database: All other entities are counted in the database. Title : Common Data Service storage capacity - Capacity page details URL : https://docs.microsoft.com/ja-jp/power-platform/admin/capacity-storage#capacity-page-details Database storage is counted in lump sums, even in MS Document, in vague terms, so database storage is getting bloated. Therefore, we prefer to split the solution and the web resource file.
