Adopt a List Page pattern for Custom Fields. This way, when Custom Fields menu is first selected, you'll see all the fields listed. Currently, when System Administration > Custom Fields is loaded, the form is blank even if there are already custom fields created. One must select the Table field drop-down, then select the table to display any of the field definitions. This is confusing because it gives one the first impression that there are no custom fields. By using a List Page pattern, all the custom fields are shown and when selecting the field's details, be presented with the current form.
