WMapp could work following its current principle, i.e., it processes one purchase line at a time in the background. However, for the user, a separate layer/menu would be shown where multiple purchase lines can be selected at once.
When the user is ready, they confirm the reception; a line-by-line type registration would take place in the background.
Not everyone has the possibility to use, e.g., barcodes in WMapp reception; therefore , WMapp 's standard "line by line" type reception function can be slow. In our case, there are about 90,000 lines per year, one at a time. We would mainly like to use WMapp on a workstation and not on a PDA, opening the whole purchase order so that all open lines appear in the same view ,
allowing selection of which/all open lines are to be processed. The confirmation would be done only once, after which printing and further steps would start processing.
