As an additional feature, it would be nice to be able to define different Bill-to customer to various tasks. In that case, one could split the Job to different Bill-to customers by Job Tasks.

It is very important to be able to invoice a project (or tasks or planning lines) to several clients. All the clients, almost from any industry that we have had as partners, have required it and the alternative solutions do not cover 100% with the requirement, because this module is complicated to customize.
Definitely having this functionality would increase the value that the Business Central project module can provide to clients because the processes would be fully integrated.

This is Absolutely necessary. Business groups with multiple companies in all lines of business are common. These groups contract for projects and require separate invoices to be generated by each company with predetermined percentages of the project value.
Also, when there is an economic contribution from the government, it must be possible to generate separate invoices for the main client and for the government.
